BioI'll start with some basic stats: human, female, Mexican, teacher, middle-aged, mother of one, divorced once, "re-married" (don't look at me, got no idea how the hell I got myself into THAT one a second time around!)
Slave to my muse, I gave birth to 8 X-files storied during 1997 and 1999. 2000 marked th ebeginning of a new milennia, and the beginning of my once-again-single status. It also marked the beginning of a muse-free era. Between you and me, I think the ex kept the muse locked up in his place just to spite me (he kept everything else for the same reason!).
Fast forward 6 years. Life has gone and taken a nice routine. Granted, hubby's cancer is a shadow that threatens to darken our household every now and then. So is my asthma. And so is my daughter's deficit disorder. And let's not discuss family finances, shall we? But if life gives you lemons you make lemonade, and if life gives you angst... well, naturally my dear, you write fanfiction!
